Removal of Heavy Metals in Electroplating Wastewater
This paper introduced the removing process of heavy metals in electroplating wastewater by white rot fungus. It included activating, absorption, and measuring follow up. The effect on absorption rate was discussed for live and dead strains at high and low concentration
This research was to study the treatment of heavy metals in electroplating wastewater using membranes. Two selected membrane types, cellulose acetate microfiltration membrane with pore size 0.2
Selected Heavy Metals Removal From Electroplating
The removal of the selected heavy metals in the electroplating wastewater treatment by the nano-adorbents (P-CNTs and PHB-CNTs) was achieved via batch adsorption process. The percentage of adsorption (Removal%) and adsorption capacity (q e ) of each nano-adsorbent were calculated using Equations ( 2 ) and ( 3 ).
This research investigated the removal of heavy metals (As, Pb, Cr, Cd, Ni, Cu, Fe, and Zn) via batch adsorption process from industrial electroplating wastewater using two different nano

Thus, the removal of heavy metals from electroplating wastewater is a matter of paramount importance (Liu et al., 2013). There are many physical, chemical, and biological methods currently being used for electroplating wastewater treatment: chemical precipitation, coagulation–flocculation, ion exchange, etc.
