The APAM used in this experiment was obtained from Daqing, China. The physicochemical properties of the APAM are summarized in Table 1.As listed in Table 1, APAM is a hydrophilic polymer with high solubility in water. The molecular weight of APAM is 6,880,000 g/mol, and it has a low value of the log octanol-water partition coefficient (−0.67) and a low zeta potential (−27.4 mV).
Comparative study of anion polyacrylamide (APAM
1. Introduction. Polymer flooding is an enhanced oil recovery (EOR) process , which is widely used in China now.Water-soluble polymers, such as partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide especially anion polyacrylamide (APAM), one added to the flooding water to improve oil mobility and recovery .Nearly 50-million tons of oilfield-produced wastewater containing APAM, oil, water and sludge are

Analysis of anion exchange membrane fouling mechanism
APAM is a hydrophilic compound with a very high solubility in water .It can tolerate the high mechanical forces during polymer flooding process .The APAM used in this study is industrial grade (Wenxian, China) and its main properties are summarized in Table 1.The average molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of APAM were determined by Gel Chromatography Lc-10ADVP (Shimadzu, Japan).
Factory supply Anion Polyacrylamide PAM for prevent and stabilize sand China Sand Washing Polyacrylamide Suppliers and Quansen anion polyacrylamide is able to successfully dispose of the waste water of the sand washing plant, and its water solubility is good, and can reach very good results, usually only 0.01~10ppm (0.01~10g/m3) can be used.

- Are cationic polyacrylamide copolymers bad for the environment?
- Cationic polyacrylamide copolymers (PAMs) are used for sludge dewatering in municipal waste water treatment and might enter the environment by spreading of the sludge on agricultural land. Concern has been expressed since little is known about the degradation of PAMs in soils.
- Can cationic polyacrylamide be used in water treatment and sludge dewatering?
- To read the full-text of this research, you can request a copy directly from the authors. Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) were used extensively in water treatment, enhanced oil recovery and sludge dewatering. The review summarized the synthesis methods research progress of cationic flocculants.
- What are cationic polyacrylamide copolymers?
- Cationic polyacrylamide copolymers (PAMs) are a group of water-soluble polymers with a wide range of applications in industry, food processing, agriculture and waste management. One of the major applications for PAM is sludge dewatering in municipal waste water treatment plants (MWWTPs).
- What is a cationic polyacrylamide synthesis?
- ... The main reaction of cationic polyacrylamide (PAM) synthesis is free radical copolymerization of acrylamide with the cationic monomer (Jiang and Zhu, 2014). The monomer containing positively charged functional groups used for synthesis of polymer applied in this study is dimethyldiallyl ammonium chloride (DMDAAC). ...
