Wastewater purification system, that floats | News item
Amsterdam’s De Keuvel floating housing development has its own floating wastewater treatment facility, a world’s first. It depollutes wastewater for 550 households and is energy-neutral. Waternet assigned Dutch company Desah to build a floating water purification installation near the development.
Today Weftec will open its gates for the 2015 edition of the largest trade exhibition on wastewater treatment in North America. Part of the exhibition is a large Holland pavilion where the latest Dutch water technology will be on display.. Weftec2015 will take place from 28 till 30 September in Chicago, USA.

Dutch Wastewater Treatment Technology Heads for North America About the Rockford Nereda® WWTP To introduce aerobic granular sludge to North America and to test particular conditions found in the United States, Aqua-Aerobic Systems committed to building a demonstration facility using Nereda technology.
Epe Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) - Water Technology
The new sewage treatment plant (STP) in the municipal town of Epe, Netherlands, was inaugurated by Crown Prince Willem-Alexander in May 2012. It is the first plant to use the innovative Nereda® sewage treatment technology invented by the Delft University of Technology.
Water Conservation and Wastewater Treatment in BRICS Nations: Technologies, Challenges, Strategies, and Policies addresses issues of water resources—including combined sewer system overflows—assessing effects on water quality standards and protecting surface and sub-surface potable water from the intrusion of saline water due to sea level rise.
Water and Wastewater Treatment - SPX Flow
The Rochester, NY based mixing lab, features a 50 square-foot water basin for detailed testing, refinement, and development of advanced water and wastewater treatment mixing systems. Water treatment mixing is centered on the coagulation of chemicals within tested water to cause nonsettling particles to form floc or a mass of solids.

Data are available from monitoring studies at a wide range of wastewater treatment systems for these surfactants. The typical wastewater treatment systems used in North America are primary (PT), activated sludge (AST), trickling filter (TFT), rotating biological contactor (RBCT), oxidation ditch (ODT), and lagoon (LT).
Potential of closed water systems on dairy farms
The objective of this paper is to define options for closed water systems on dairy farms using information on dairy fums in The Netherlands, Greece and North America. THE NETHERLANDS Water demand on Dutch dairv farms In 1996 more than 35,000 dairy farms in the Netherlands were housing over 1.6 million dairy cows (CBS, 1997).

- How cationic polyacrylamide (PAMC) is prepared?
- Flocculation and mechanism was discussed based on zeta potential and pH analysis. A novel cationic polyacrylamide (PAMC) with various cationic monomer contents were prepared by copolymerizing acrylamide (AM) and methacryloxyethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride aqueous solution (DMC) through low-pressure ultraviolet (UV) initiation.
- How to make dry cationic polyacrylamide beads?
- The process for the manufacture of dry cationic polyacrylamide beads involves the polymerization of a monomer mixture in inverse suspension , . In this process, a suspension of monomers is prepared using the necessary surfactants in a suitable nonsolvent for the monomer mixture.
- Which cationic polyacrylamide is synthesized through UV initiation?
- Recently, Ma et al. used acrylamide (AM) and methacryloxyethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (DMC) to synthesize a novel cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) through low-pressure ultraviolet (UV) initiation.
- Can cationic polyacrylamide be used for oily wastewater treatment?
