Hydrolyzed polyacrylamide grafted maize starch based
FTIR spectra of maize starch (MS), acrylamide grafted maize starch (Pam-g-MS), and hydrolyzed polyacrylamide grafted maize starch (HPam-g-MS). In the spectrum of Pam-g-MS the peaks at 3634.01 cm −1 , 3399.45 cm −1 and 3206.08 cm −1 are observed, which can be assigned to the overlap of N H stretching band of amide groups of acrylamide and

Compatible blends of thermoplastic starch and hydrolyzed
Highlights Compatible blends of thermoplastic starch and modified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers. The glass transition temperature of thermoplastic blends increased when blended with partially and completely hydrolyzed EVA. Water absorption of thermoplastic starch decreases when blended with hydrolyzed EVA.
Cassava starch-g-polyacrylamide (PAM) was successfully prepared by a reactive batch processing using a specially designed batch reactor resulting in a superabsorbent polymer (SAP) with water absorption of 605 g/g being obtained under the optimized reaction conditions. The occurrence of a graft copolymer was confirmed by FT-IR spectra, where it was found to exhibit all characteristic bands of

A novel method of improving drainage rate and retention of fines which is effective in unfilled, newsprint-type furnish without a silica/bentonite-type particle is disclosed. The method comprises adding a cationic or amphoteric starch, and a cationic polyelectrolyte followed by the addition of a high molecular weight anionic polyacrylamide copolymer.

- Can anionic polyacrylamide be used in water treatment?
- What's more, the authors discussed the application status of anionic polyacrylamide in water treatment. Based on these reviews, future research perspectives relating to its synthesis and application were proposed. This review summarizes the synthesis methods for anionic polyacrylamide.
- Do polyaluminium chloride and anionic polyacrylamide water treatment residuals adsorb phosphorus?
- Polyaluminium chloride and anionic polyacrylamide water treatment residuals (PAC-APAM WTRs) as an amendment in three types of soils with the ratios (w/w) of 10%, 15%, and 20% were evaluated for phosphorus adsorption from aqueous solutions by batch studies.
- What is anionic polyacrylamide used for?
- Anionic polyacrylamide can pick up positively charged particles (clay, sand), much like a magnet picks up nails and other metal objects. APAM can be widely used in waste water treatment of chemical industry, municipal sewage treatment, such as coal washing, mineral processing, metallurgy, iron and steel industry and electronic industry.
- What are the different types of anionic polyacrylamide synthesis technologies?
- The paper lists six different kinds of anionic polyacrylamide synthesis technologies, including homopolymerization posthydrolysis process, homopolymerization cohydrolysis process, copolymerization approach, inverse emulsion polymerization, precipitation polymerization and radiation polymerization.
