Applications of Natural Zeolites in Water and Wastewater
Treatment is required to obtain drinking water from most natural resources as well as from wastewaters with varying amounts of impurities. These impurities may occur in a variety of forms including large particles such as microorganisms or suspended solids or as dissolved or colloidal inorganic and organic substances.
In this study, natural zeolites are chosen to adsorb the salty particles in the water. Zeolites have high cation exchange capacity and ion selectivity, which make them appropriate for removal of different ions from water and wastewater. Methodology: In order to study SAR and TDS as dependent covariates, experiments were designed in three categories:

Natural Zeolites in Water Treatment – How Effective
The use of natural zeolites in wastewater treatment is one of the oldest and the most perspective areas of their application. The presence of heavy metals (Zn, Cr, Pb, Cd, Cu, Mn, Fe, etc.) in wastewater is a serious environmental problem and their removal by natural
The Hellenic Natural Zeolite (HENAZE) of Ntrista stream is of very high quality and contains 89 wt.% HEU-type zeolite. The treatment of urban wastewaters with the HENAZE resulted to production of
Natural zeolites as effective adsorbents in water
Application of natural zeolites for water and wastewater treatment has been realised and is still a promising technique in environmental cleaning processes. In the past decades, utilisation of natural zeolites has been focussed on ammonium and heavy metal removal due to the nature of ion exchange and some review papers have been appeared [6] , [12] , [13] .
of natural zeolites. In order to reduce salinity of wastewater, experiments were carried out by varying the type of zeolite, concentration of zeo lite and residence time. The results show that both zeolites can lower the SAR and TDS of wastewater ; however, Rhyolitic tuff is more effective than clinoptilolite.
Radiation-modified natural zeolites for cleaning liquid
Accordingly, we present an application, in which the cation-exchange capacity of a natural zeolite (clinoptilolite) is substantially enhanced, for the treatment/decontamination of water

Applications of natural zeolites in the treatment
The potential role of natural zeolites in relation to such repositories can be divided into: (1) improving the retention of radioisotopes within the repository (i.e. the use of crushed zeolite as backfill to enclose waste canisters and to fill tunnels, shafts and rooms) should the steel canisters leak and expose the waste form to groundwaters
Some Applications and Other Uses for Zetox. WHAT IS NATURAL Liquid Zeolite? Simply put, Natural Liquid Zeolite, is purified zeolite - a non-prescription substance in a purified, activated form, as a clear liquid. Zeolite (not a new substance), has been used for more than 800 years in Asia as a remedy for overall health and well-being. It is a
