The Filter Presses we supply are used in the treatment of industrial wastewater and effluent waste water in many industries. With water authorities consents getting more and more stringent companies are turning to equipment like our to pre-treat their wastewater prior to going into the town drains.
Batch Filter Presses - Exotron | Wastewater Treatment
BATCH FILTER PRESSES. Exotron Batch Filter Presses are used for dewatering wastewater with solids. Different from other presses, Batch Filter Presses apply high pressure to slurries between press plates and extract a high majority of liquids from the slurry.
Used Filter Presses are an economical solution for your filtration needs.Met-chem provides used filter presses at reasonable prices. We sell used filter presses of various sizes, styles, and brands including JWI, Hoesch, Shriver, and Netzsch, to name a few.

Sludge Dewatering Equipment belt filter press in sludge
Sludge dewatering polymer used belt filter press price equipment used in the sludge and wasting water treatment: 1. Big steel structure, smooltly operation and low noise. 2. Pre-treatment with a better flocculation effect & low operation osts. 3. Bali chargng machine, will feeding the sewage evenly, making te belt life longer. 4.
Features, principle of functioning, capacity of filter presses. Sludge treament. Filtration is the most widely used method in the treatment of sludge produced by wastewater treatment. It can consist just in dreinage though sand beds or it can be mechanical under vacuum middle or high pressure conditions which require more sophisticated equipment.
Filter press, side-bar and overhead design
In overhead filter presses, the plates are shifted via the overhead beam. Thus, free access to the plate package is ensured from the side. The product range of ANDRITZ overhead filter presses comprises chamber and membrane filter presses up to a size of 2,500 x 2,500 mm and an area of 2,000 m虏. The filtration pressures range from 7 to 30 bar
Filter presses remove undissolved solids from a liquid. They generally operate in batch mode rather than continuously. The liquid is fed into the chambers between the plates holding the filter elements and allowed to impregnate the membranes.
- Does polyacrylamide reduce soil erosion?
- Soil amendments like anionic polyacrylamide (PAM), which is a synthetic polymer, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly can reduces runoff and soil erosion (Sojka et al., 2007 ), although, its effectiveness in reducing runoff and soil loss can be enhanced when PAM is applied in combination with lime and gypsum (Kebede et al., 2025 ).
- Can Pam be used alone for erosion control?
- PAM should not be applied alone for erosion control, but in combination with mulch and seeding. This is especially important on steeper slopes. There are many types of PAMs, each with slightly different properties and ability to react with a specific soil. Be sure to use the PAM that works best on the soil at your site.
- Can polymers reduce soil erosion?
- Polymers as a soil amendment is one of the effective measurements to reduce soil erosion. In this study, two polymers, polyacrylamide (PAM) and polysaccharide (Jag C 162), were applied to erosion plots filled with loess soil (tilted at 20°). For each polymer, four concentration levels—0, 10, 30, and 50 kg·ha −1 —were applied.
- Does polyacrylamide reduce soil nutrient depletion?
- Polyacrylamide (PAM) mitigates soil nutrient depletion and increases nutrient utilization; however, the effect of PAM combined with other amendments have not been tested much under field condition.
