Combined effects of polyacrylamide and nanomagnetite amendment on soil and water quality, Khorasan Razavi, Iran Published on Oct 1, 2025 in Journal of Environmental Management 4.865 · DOI : 10.1016/j.jenvman.2025.06.061 Copy DOI
Polyacrylamide and PAM-NM treatments resulted in 32.2 and 151.9 fold reductions in Mn2+, 1.8 and 2.7 fold for PO43--P, and 2.3 and 1.6 fold for NH4+-N, respectively, compared to the control. Thus, we found that the combination of PAM and NM, had an important inhibitory effect on NH4+-N and PO43--P transport from soil-pollutants which can

1 Introduction. Nanoparticles have been shown to provide many improvements in material performances when included in existing material systems used in the construction and production of oil and gas wells. 1 Research in petroleum well drilling, design, stimulation, and reservoir production management has demonstrated that nanoparticles can make industrial materials tougher, 2 well completion

Nanomagnetite combine with PAC to form clusters and generate flocs with algae afterwards. The more nanomagnetite it is, the bigger the size of the floc will be. The nanomagnetic composite coagulant provides nucleation sites for larger flocs to integrate with M. aeruginosa. Increased floc density also improves the removal of the algae.
Nanotechnology Research and Development in Upstream Oil
Nanotechnology Research and Development in Upstream Oil and Gas Peter J. Boul* and Pulickel M. Ajayan Research in nanomaterials has brought many performance enhancements to the materials used in oil and gas well drilling, cementing, production, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR). While the products of these investigations and product
Heavy rainfalls over the Greater Jakarta (GJ) basins during January 14 - 15 th, 2013 were suspected to be derived from convective complex systems (CCSs) as subsets of mesoscale convective systems (MCSs).This study, implementing a graph-theory based algorithm on black body temperature (TBB) dataset, identified CCS over GJ during heavy rainfall event on January 14 - 15 th, 2013.
- What is poly aluminum-ferric chloride (PAFC)?
- Author to whom correspondence should be addressed. Poly aluminum-ferric Chloride (PAFC) is a new type of high efficiency coagulant. In this study, high iron type gangue is used as a main raw material. It is calcined at 675 °C for 1 h and 3% CaF 2 is added to the calcined powder and reacted with 20% hydrochloric acid at 93 °C for 4 h.
- Is polyaluminum ferric chloride an inorganic coagulant?
- 1. Introduction Polyaluminum ferric chloride (PAFC) is an efficient inorganic polymeric coagulant [1], [2]. Many studies [3], [4], [5] have demonstrated that inorganic polymeric coagulants were more effective than conventional inorganic coagulating salts in coagulation due to their resistances to the influence of wastewater initial pH.
- Where to buy polyaluminium chloride in Iran?
- Golgah, as one of the main providers of Polyaluminium Chloride in Iran, offers quality PAC in solid or liquid form using its own production lines and/or its international supply network, as well. Polyaluminium Chloride is a water chemical made up of the elements aluminium, oxygen, hydrogen, and chlorine.
- How is a polyaluminium ferric chloride flocculant prepared?
- A highly efficient polyaluminium ferric chloride (PAFC) flocculant was prepared by adjusting the pH of a leaching solution, the molar ratio of Al to Fe, and the polymerisation temperature. The effects of synthesis and flocculation conditions on the flocculation performance of aged landfill leachate were investigated.
