Hydrogen production from waste water
Refineries Hydrocracking – Green hydrogen for petroleum refineries. Fertiliser production Climate-neutral hydrogen for ammonia production. Hydrogen production from waste water Cost-effective water purification with the help of our plasma electrolyzers.
Treatment with ozone and ozone/hydrogen peroxide was tested in a laboratory scale reactor for removal of organics from four different industrial wastewaters: wastewaters of a paper-mill and of a biotechnical pharmaceutical process as well as two process waters from soil remediation by supercritical water extraction.
Pharmaceutical Waste Water Treatment Using Hydrogen
Pharmaceutical drugs are manufactured in many ways either by chemical synthesis or biological derivatives or fermented compounds. The waste water generated from pharmaceutical industry is a complex mixture of many organic compounds, solvents and
Acclimated sewage sludge or microflora was also used for hydrogen production in some cases [15-19]. Our laboratory has focused on bioreactor and biocatalyst design for anaerobic hydrogen production with municipal sewage sludge [20].
High Strength Wastewater Pretreatment with H2O2 | USP
H2O2 High Strength Wastewater Pretreatment with Hydrogen Peroxide . Refinery Wastewater Oxidizer Treatment. Hydrogen peroxide is one of the most versatile, dependable and environmentally compatible oxidizing agents. The relative safety and simplicity of hydrogen peroxide as an oxidizing agent has led to the development of a number of

Pharmaceutical Wastewater Effluent—Source of Contaminants
This research investigated the phytotoxicity of metronidazole to soybean (Glycine max), a highly economical crop, through exposure by the use of untreated process water from PMCs effluent as irrigation water. Pharmaceutical waste constitutes an environmental nuisance. They also have detrimental effects on diverse ecosystem fauna and flora.

Treatment of pharmaceutical wastewater containing
The advanced treatment using integrated Fenton's reaction and coagulation process was investigated in this study. Before the advancement, the pharmaceutical wastewater containing lincomycin hydrochloride was pretreated by UASB (upflow anaerobic sludge bed) and a SBR (sequencing batch reactor) process.
Results. The results showed that using HP alone did not have any significant disinfection capability. In RW and ASE, the highest dose used in this study could reduce fecal coliforms (FC) s by only 1.54 and 1.16 log-inactivation, respectively. However, Maximum removal efficiency of modified Fenton in RW and ASE was 4.63 and 3.41 log-inactivation, respectively.
A Survey of the Presence of Pharmaceutical Residues
Owing to the complexity of wastewater matrixes and the low concentrations of pharmaceutical residues in these types of samples, it is necessary to use sensitive analytical methodologies. In this study, the presence of 11 pharmaceutical compounds were assessed in three different wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) in Gran Canaria (Spain).

- What is poly Aluminium chloride?
- This article delves into the chemical properties, uses, and safety considerations of poly aluminium chloride, while also examining its pivotal role in the water treatment industry. Poly aluminium chloride, commonly abbreviated as PAC, is a complex chemical compound used primarily as a coagulant in water purification.
- What is high-purity poly-aluminum chloride (PACL)?
- Poly-aluminum chloride (PACl) is one of the common coagulants for water and wastewater treatment. A new Chinese national standard of PACl has been implemented, where the concentration of insoluble substances, iron and heavy metals is to be controlled strictly, then researches on the preparation of high-purity PACl are needed.
- What is polyaluminum chloride coagulant?
- 1. Introduction Polyaluminum chloride (PAC) coagulant has been developed and used in water and wastewater treatment since the 1980s throughout the world (Jiang, 2001). PAC is made by partial hydrolysis of acid aluminum chloride solution using a specific reactor.
- What is polyaluminum chloride used for?
- Polyaluminum chloride is used in water treatment for forming dense and large alum blooms in the wastewater treatment process. The sedimentation speed is fast, and the treatment effect is obvious. In water treatment, PAC chemical also has an application in the mining industry for ore flotation, where it can act on mineral separation.
