Assessment of water quality in groundwater resources
An innovative drinking water quality index (DWQI) based on the Canadian DWQI was developed as “modified DWQI” and applied for assessing the water quality in all of the groundwater resources that are used as the source of drinking water in urban areas of Iran in 2011.
Thermax is one of the leading companies in providing water and waste solutions for the past four decades, catering to various industrial, commercial, rural, hospitality and defence establishments as well as the urban sector in order to help them reduce fresh water consumption, reuse and recycle wastewater.
Wastewater Treatment and Reuse in Iran: Situation Analysis
Of the average annual rainfall volume of 417 billion cubic meters (bcm) an estimated 70 percent evaporates before reaching the rivers. The total long-term total renewable water resources are estimated at 130 bcm of which about 13 bcm are external water resources.
Water resources in Iran. The average annual precipitation is estimated at 250mm, varying from 50mm in parts of the central water basin, to more than 1,600mm in some coastal areas near the Caspian Sea. [1] The global average annual precipitation is more than 830mm, classifying Iran as arid and semi-arid. In the last 50 years, Iran has faced ten periods of severe drought.

In water-tube boilers, flue gases surrounding tubes heat water inside of the tubes. In fire-tube boilers, flue gases are inside of tubes, and water is in the shell around the tubes. Steam Applications. In steam applications, water quality is an important part of boiler selection.
Water supply and sanitation in Iran
Water supply and sanitation in Iran has witnessed some important improvements, especially in terms of increased access to urban water supply, while important challenges remain, particularly concerning sanitation and service provision in rural areas. Institutionally, the Ministry of Energy is in charge of policy and provincial companies are in charge of service provision.
The high pressure boilers used in power stations require high purity, demineralized water to prevent corrosion. Ovivo can provide site-specific boiler feed water treatment technologies suitable for the local environment, which will increase equipm
Water & Wastewater Treatment in the Food Industry | WWD
Boiler Feedwater. Boiler feedwater requires the removal of hardness. This may be the only treatment process applied to the water; if this water is not in contact with food, it does not have to be potable. Boiler feedwater for high-pressure boilers requires demineralization or the removal of all dissolved solids.
We have developed this simple Industrial Waste Water Disposal System to evaporate your liquid waste (typically 99% water) and leave a dry solid cake behind. The Industrial Waste Water System is reliable and has no electrical controls. To start the process, all you will need to do is open a few valves, then every six to twelve months, open the vessel and shovel out the solids left behind.
Properly Treat Boiler Water for Efficient, Long -Term
Properly Treat Boiler Water for Efficient, Long -Term Operation . By Thomas Leunig . July 2013 . To ensure a boiler runs properly over the course of its lifetime, treating the water that circulates within the system is mandatory. If the water is not treated properly, the boiler will begin to have problems
Boiler water treatment The treatment and conditioning of boiler feed water must satisfy three main objectives: Continuous heat exchange Corrosion protection Production of high quality …
- Is poly aluminum chloride a good coagulant?
- Poly Aluminum Chloride (PAC) has emerged as a highly efficient and versatile coagulant in the field of water treatment. Its unique properties, including high charge density, stability, and wide pH range, make it an ideal choice for various water treatment applications.
- Is polyaluminum chloride a good coagulant for water treatment?
- Polyaluminum chloride (PAC) is highly effective coagulant for water treatment over conventional coagulants because of low dosage requirement, shorter flocculation time, smaller amount of sludge, high efficiency and low aluminum residual in treated water [ 6 ].
- Can poly aluminum chloride revolutionize water treatment efficiencies?
- One such solution is Poly Aluminum Chloride (PAC), a chemical compound that has gained significant attention in the field of water treatment. In this blog post, we will explore the properties, benefits, and applications of PAC, highlighting its role in revolutionizing water treatment efficiencies.
- What is poly aluminum chloride?
- Poly Aluminum Chloride, commonly known as PAC, is an inorganic polymer coagulant widely used in water treatment processes. It is a combination of aluminium and chloride, forming a highly efficient and versatile coagulant.
