Bio-Gel® P Polyacrylamide Beads | Life Science - Bio-Rad
Bio-Gel P gels are autoclavable at pH 5.5–6.5 and operate over a pH range of 2–10 at room temperature. Flow rate and resolution increase with increasing temperature in the range of 4–80°C. The gels are compatible with dilute organic acids, 8 M urea, chaotropic agents, detergents, and miscible organic solvents.
These high-quality precast gels are designed for polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis in the Mini-PROTEAN Tetra cell. Refer to the following table to select the appropriate gel type and buffers for your polyacrylamide gel-based applications. If playback doesn't begin shortly, try restarting your device.
Buffers, Reagents, and Acrylamide for Protein - Bio-Rad
The high quality 0.4 µm filtered buffers can be used with handcast or precast gels. Tracking Dyes Bio-Rad offers two tracking dyes for monitoring electrophoresis runs: bromophenol blue for monitoring protein electrophoresis and xylene cyanole FF for monitoring nucleic acid electrophoresis.
Our mission: To provide useful, high-quality products and services that advance scientific discovery and improve healthcare. At Bio-Rad, we are united behind this effort.
Setting Up and Running Mini-PROTEAN® TGX - YouTube
Use Bio-Rad's high-quality Mini-PROTEAN TGX, Tris-Tricine, TBE, and TBE-Urea precast gels with the Mini-PROTEAN Tetra cell to simplify electrophoresis workflow and obtain consistent results.
All Invitrogen precast protein gels are high quality polyacrylamide gels designed to deliver superior performance, reliability, reproducibility, and consistency of quality. Our extensive portfolio of precast protein gels provides a wide variety of gel options available for your research.
TruPAGE ™ Precast Gels - Precast Polyacrylamide Gels
Application TruPAGE ™ Precast Gels is suitable for use for the electrophoretic separation of hepatocytes protein lysate and breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cell lysate prior to western blot analysis.. Features and Benefits TruPAGE SDS-PAGE Precast Gels provide improved protein resolution, tear resistance, and an extended shelf-life.
Agarose gels can be run at a large range of voltages—from 0.25–7 V/cm. High voltages save time but can result in overheating of the gel, even leading to melting of low percentage agarose gels. High voltages can also cause band smearing, particularly of fragments >10 kb.
A Guide to Polyacrylamide Gel Electrophoresis
Precast gels are available for Bio-Rad’s mini- and midi-format electrophoresis systems, and handcasting accessories are available to fit all Bio-Rad electrophoresis cells. Additional parameters to consider include the number of wells and gel thickness, which depend on the number and volume of samples to analyze.
GenScript's Bis-Tris precast gel series are high performance polyacrylamide gels that are designed to separate a wide range of protein sizes by electrophoresis. The gels are cast in a neutral pH buffer that minimizes polyacrylamide hydrolysis and increases gel stability.
- Is poly-aluminum chloride a good coagulant for wastewater treatment?
- As a common and low-cost coagulant, poly-aluminum chloride (PAC) may be widely used for wastewater treatment. In this article, the impacts of PAC on activated sludge and the treatment efficiency of sequencing batch reactor were investigated over 100 d for domestic wastewater treatment.
- What is poly aluminum chloride (PAC)?
- Poly Aluminum Chloride (PAC) has emerged as a game-changer in the realm of water treatment, redefining the landscape with its multifaceted benefits.
- How does poly aluminum chloride affect sludge production?
- PAC benefited the aggregates of sludge flocs. PAC caused more EPS remained in sludge cells. Solubilization, hydrolysis, acidiogenesis, and methanogenesis were inhibited by PAC. Alb and Alc were the contributors to the decreased SCFA production. Poly aluminum chloride (PAC) is accumulated in waste activated sludge at high levels.
- Can PAC reduce sludge production during water treatment?
- The formation of sludge during water treatment is a concern both environmentally and economically. PAC’s ability to curtail sludge production not only simplifies the disposal process but also aligns with sustainable practices, reducing the ecological footprint of water treatment operations.
