We test and certify to much more than our two flagship industry standards, NSF/ANSI 14 for plastic piping systems and components and NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 for drinking water system components. Our in-house laboratory is equipped and accredited to test to virtually all plumbing industry standards, including ASME, ASSE, ASTM, CSA and IAPMO.
- Can ozone-based advanced oxidation and adsorption of activated Char be used in industrial effluent?
- In the present study, a combined approach of ozone-based advanced oxidation and adsorption by activated char was employed for the treatment of a pharmaceutical industrial effluent. Ozone is a selective oxidant, but the addition of H 2 O 2 generated in situ hydroxyl radicals, which is a non-selective stronger oxidant than ozone.
- Are advanced oxidation processes effective in industrial wastewater treatment?
- Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) have emerged as a promising solution, offering versatile and effective means of pollutant removal and mineralization. This comprehensive review explores the application of various AOP strategies in industrial wastewater treatment, focusing on their mechanisms and effectiveness.
- Can industrial pharmaceutical wastewater be treated with ozone?
- The present study can benefit the treatment of real industrial pharmaceutical wastewater. The pharmaceuticals present in the effluent were identified and classified. The presence of anti-cancer, anti-psychotic, anti-depressant, and anti-biotic drugs was confirmed in the effluent. The effluent was treated with ozone in the presence of H 2 O 2.
- Are ozone-based AOP processes suitable for wastewater remediation?
- The high effectiveness and low energy consumption make the ozone-based AOP process an attractive process for wastewater remediation.
