Molecular dynamics simulations of the conformation
The behavior of a single HPAM chain in concentrated aqueous salt solutions was studied by molecular dynamics simulations with the Gromacs software package version 5.0.2 (Berendsen et al., 1995) at pH 7 and 300 K.For the HPAM chain, we used the AMBER 99sb force field (Cornell et al., 1995, Sorin and Pande, 2005), which supports most common biomolecules.
Anionic Polyacrylamide Polymers Effect on Rheological Behavior of Sodium‐Montmorillonite Suspensions. Three anionic PAMs of three molecular weights (MWs) The polymer conformation factor has a greater impact on clay structure stabilization in suspension than the electrostatic repulsion effect. The clay structure stability was increased

The effect of polyacrylamide charge density and molecular. The effects of the surface charge and molecular weight of anionic and cationic polyacrylamide (PAM) on the surface chemistry, settling rates, floc sizes and sediment bed compactness of kaolinite suspensions has been investigated at pH 7.
Impact of anionic polyacrylamide on stability and surface
The stability mechanism and thermal properties of the system alumina–anionic polyacrylamide (PAM) was studied. The polymer’s adsorption properties in dependence on the following parameters solution pH (in the range 3–9), temperature (in the range 15–35 °C), and carboxyl groups’ content in the PAM chains (in the range 5–30 %) were examined.

The effects of different types of anionic polyacrylamide (PAM) on crystallization behavior of precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) prepared via carbonation using calcium hydroxide and carbon dioxide gas. The percentage of aragonite phase increased higher reaction temperature.
Anionic Polyacrylamide Polymers Effect on Rheological Behavior of Sodium-Montmorillonite Suspensions Abstract Polyacrylamide (PAM) is a long‐chain synthetic polymer that acts as a strengthening agent, binding clay particles together.
Polyacrylamide and biopolymer effects on flocculation
Polyacrylamide and biopolymer effects on flocculation, aggregate stability, and water seepage in a silt loam These results suggested that the biopolymer's bulkier molecular conformation limited the extension and flexibility of the molecule in solution, compared to PAM. The polymer conformation factor has a greater impact on clay structure stabilization in suspension than the electrostatic repulsion effect. The clay structure stability was increased with increasing polymer electrostatic negative charge for similar molecular weights.
