Comparative studies of rheological properties
Journal of Applied Polymer Science Volume 103, Issue 4. Comparative studies of rheological properties of polyacrylamide and partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide solutions. Katarzyna Lewandowska.
The polymer products employed in this study consisted of partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamides (HPAM) with different degrees of hydrolysis. The effect of the hydrolysis on the pressure drop is investigated in a porous media test section designed to minimize polymer degradation.
Rheological Properties of Partially Hydrolyzed
This work aims to improve the rheological properties of partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (HPAM) for enhanced oil recovery by using silica (or silicon dioxide, SiO2) nanoparticles (NPs). Novel aqueous HPAM-based SiO2 nanocomposites were formulated, and their rheological properties were investigated under different salinities, temperatures, and aging times.

We hereby employ molecular dynamics (MD) simulations (鈭? 渭s in total) to investigate the chain dynamics, aggregation, and interfacial properties of the partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (HPAM) polymer. HPAM is widely used in chemical enhanced oil recovery (cEOR) applications. The conformational changes and aggregation properties are examined in different conditions simulating cEOR activities.

Energy potential of leafy spurge (Euphorbia esula). SciTech Connect. Maxwell, B.D.; Wiatr, S.M.; Fay, P.K. 1985-01-01. Leafy spurge (Euphorbia esula) is a noxious, perennial weed that infests pastures, range land and waste areas in the northern Great Plains. The objective of this study was to determine the productive potential of this species when grown under optimum agronomic conditions.

- What is the global market for membrane water treatment chemicals?
- Indeed, the global market for membrane water treatment chemicals was worth around USD 14.70 billion in 2015 and is expected to exceed USD 20.71 billion by 2025, with a CAGR of 7% forecast during the period 2017–2025 [ 16 ].
- Is the water treatment chemicals market a good business?
- The water treatment chemicals market is more diverse now, as it includes several new groups that entered the market place in the past 20 years. It surely represents good business for chemicals companies. Nevertheless, it might not be a good situation for human health and the environment.
- Does aluminum sulfate coagulation–flocculation treatment improve water quality?
- Therefore, continuous research is necessary to improve water treatment methods and guarantee its quality. As part of this study, the effectiveness of coagulation–flocculation treatment using aluminum sulfate (Al 2 (SO 4) 3) was evaluated on a very polluted site.
- Is aluminum sulfate a non-toxic water treatment agent?
- The safeguarding of environmental sustainability and human health hinges crucially on ensuring the non-toxicity of water treatment agents. In this pivotal context, aluminum sulfate (Al 2 (SO 4) 3) emerges as a distinguished contender, not only celebrated for its efficacy but also lauded for its commendable non-toxic nature [ 15 ].
