Fluence MABR technology
Ronen Barkan, North America Sales Manager at Fluence Corporation, will present the innovative MABR technology developed by Fluence for wastewater treatment in small communities. Fluence offers a decentralized solution perfectly suitable for quick deployment and high effluent quality.
Fluence’s Aspiral is a decentralized wastewater treatment solution that packages MABR technology in standard-sized shipping containers. Its small- to medium-sized plants are ideal for serving small towns, villages, residential communities, resorts, and more.
What is a Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reactor (MABR)? | Fluence
Membrane aerated biofilm Reactor (MABR) technology provides a revolutionary improvement in aerobic wastewater treatment for a number of reasons, particularly its high energy efficiency and increased treatment capacity, compared to traditional wastewater treatment systems. Much of the energy used in aerobic treatment is tied to aeration, the introduction of air bubbles into wastewater via pumps, paddles, and other mechanisms.
SUBRE uses membrane aerated biofilm reactor (MABR) technology, which has been described as one of this decade's most important advances in wastewater treatment. Due to its simultaneous nitrification-denitrification and enhanced bio-phosphorus removal, MABR excels in nutrient removal , producing high-quality effluent while slashing energy use.
Global Water & Wastewater Solutions | Fluence
Fluence has decades of expertise delivering innovative, cost-effective water, wastewater, and reuse solutions to businesses and communities worldwide.
For over a century, activated sludge treatment has been a mainstay of conventional aerobic wastewater treatment. But it's complicated, and its aeration stage is particularly energy-intensive, making it impractical for wastewater reuse. At Fluence, we've developed an alternative: self-respiring Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reactors (MABR).
Aspiral Smart Packaged Wastewater Solutions | Fluence
Fluence’s Aspiral is a smart wastewater treatment solution that packages Fluence’s best-in-class membrane aerated biofilm reactor (MABR) technology in standard shipping containers. This modular solution uses simultaneous nitrification-denitrification for high nutrient removal and reduces energy usage for aeration by up to 90% compared to conventional methods.
The membrane aerated biofilm reactor (MABR) technology in Fluence’s Aspiral™ delivers a top-quality effluent suitable for reuse, while Fluence’s NIROBOX™ desalinates water at a price point that rivals that of larger plants. These Smart Packaged solutions are small, efficient, portable, quick to deploy, and can be resold or moved when
Fluence Secures Another Strategic MABR Sale in the USA
Fluence Managing Director & CEO Henry Charrabé said: “ Our new contract with Orenco to supply MABR modules for integration into their wastewater treatment solution is a testament to the
Fluence’s Tipton Series prefabricated, package wastewater treatment plants provide reliable, complete solutions for on-site treatment for municipal and private clients. Fluence Announces First Production Of MABR Modules
Facility Is Also Producing Smart Packaged MABR Units to Meet China & Future Global Demand. Fluence Corporation Limited (“Fluence” or the “Company”), a global leader in water and wastewater treatment solutions, recently announced that it has successfully produced the first Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reactor (MABR) module in its newly-built production facility in Changzhou, Jiangsu
The global packaged wastewater treatment market is currently experiencing strong growth. Looking forward, the market is projected to exhibit a CAGR of around 10% during 2025-2025.
- What is polyaluminum chloride (PAC)?
- Sci.882 012014DOI 10.1088/1755-1315/882/1/012014 Polyaluminum chloride (PAC) is commonly used as a chemical in the water treatment industry, deodorant and paper-making. The PAC is a complex inorganic substance between hydroxyl and aluminum ions that gradually takes place chlorination with its general formula of Al x (OH) y Cl 3x-y.
- Does pH affect the performance of polyaluminum chloride (PAC)?
- The performance of PAC was dependent on pH. The synthesized PΑC was efficient coagulant for water treatment. The present work was aimed to synthesis of polyaluminum chloride (PAC) using calcium oxide as a basification agent and optimization of process parameters on the yield of medium polymer species in PAC.
- Is polyaluminum chloride a good coagulant for water treatment?
- Polyaluminum chloride (PAC) is highly effective coagulant for water treatment over conventional coagulants because of low dosage requirement, shorter flocculation time, smaller amount of sludge, high efficiency and low aluminum residual in treated water [ 6 ].
- Is polyaluminum chloride used in water treatment?
- Polyaluminum chloride (PAC) can be synthesized and used in water treatment as investigated in this study using a colorimetric speciation method. Stable preparations of PAC solutions can be produced where a relatively stable cationic polymer predominates.
