The magnetic treatment gave similar results for the two types of water although the salted water was equivalent to a 420 mg dm −3 Ca 2+ content. Therefore, the efficiency of the magnetic treatment seemed to be independent of the water hardness. As, the pH was more stable with the salted water, this water composition was used in the following.
Magnetic Water Treatment Systems - CMS Magnetics
Our premium magnetic water treatment systems are much better than our competitor's for the following reasons: Our steel channels are much thicker. A thicker channel means less leak of the magnetic field so the magnetic field is stronger in the pipe. This produces better results than products using thinner channels with a weaker magnetic field.
1. Introduction. Scaling in natural hard water is a major concern in different facets of industrial processes and domestic installations , , .Scale deposits by natural waters often lead to numerous technical and economical problems in industrial plants and domestic equipment by blocking the flow of water in pipes or limiting heat transfer in heat exchangers .

Artificial sea water may be made by combining in their due proportion salts, which analysis has shown to exist in the ocean. It is probable, however, that the difficulties of conveyance, &c., will, for a time, limit the pursuit to the inhabitants of towns near the coast, so that we need not now occupy space with the formulae.

- What is an anionic polyacrylamide?
- Anionic polyacrylamides make up the largest portion of the polyacrylamide market. The polymers can be prepared over a wide range of anionic charges and molecular weights (1000 to > 20,000,000 molecular weight). The workhorse comonomer for the production of anionic polyacrylamides is acrylate salts of acrylic acid.
- Does anionic polyacrylamide biodegrade?
- ent only.1 BACKGROUNDAnionic polyacrylamide is the copolymer of acryl mide and acrylic acid. No studies on the environmental fate of polyac ylamide are available. As a high-molecular weight, water-soluble polymer, it is not expected to biode rade or bioaccumulate. Anionic polyacrylamide has a low acute toxicity concer
- Which comonomer is used for the production of anionic polyacrylamides?
- The workhorse comonomer for the production of anionic polyacrylamides is acrylate salts of acrylic acid. These anionic polymers can be prepared as various mono- and divalent metal salts and other positively charged inorganic and organic counterions of the polymerization of acrylic acid with acrylamide (see Fig. 34.4 ).
- Is polyacrylamide a cationic or nonionic polymer?
- rade or bioaccumulate. Anionic polyacrylamide has a low acute toxicity concer CO-CHEMICAL PROPERTIESPolyacrylamide polymers can exist in cationic, anionic or non-ionic forms, depending on their ionic charge. The non-ionic form of polyacrylamide is generated from the basic polyme
